Recently, she portrayed Carlota on Netflix's Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer is an American actress, comedian, and singer. Her most famous performance was when she was a part of the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, from the year 1996 to 2002. Since then, she has appeared in shows like ABC's Suburgatory and TBS's People of Earth, NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her career as a vocal student in the vocal department at Northwestern University, and later switched her attention to studies in theater after joining the campus improv team. It was a similar spirit that carried on into her roles in supporting roles, such as the almost tense Sheila Shay in Suburgatory, and the eccentric Karen Grisham on Lady Dynamite. All of this has led to American Auto the NBC show which will offer Ana Gasteyer a starring role.
